Anushka Sharma to accompany SRK to London for Zee Carnival

Rab Ne Bana De Jodi discovery, Anushka Sharma will be accompanying Shah Rukh Khan for this year's Zee Carnival to London. The leggy actress will be traveling overseas for the first time to interact with her fans ever since she made her debut last December.

Excited and yet composed, Sharma gushed. "There are a lot of first things happening for me. And here's an addition to that long list. In spite of so much coming my way in such a short span of time, I have never felt that I am different from others."

Fans coming to see SRK at the Zee Carnival will get a chance to interact with the stars. And these Bollywood fans usually range from their teens to the forties. But that does not deter this 20 year old actress. On the contrary, Anushka said, "It feels strange that there is so much adulation. But, I have no complaints."

Anushka will leave for London on 12 February. The Carnival will be held from 13 - 15 February

Anushka Sharma to judge SRK's Knights and Angels

The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi girl Anushka Sharma will now be a judge for Shahrukh Khan ’s reality show 'Knights and Angels'.

She got a dream launch in Bollywood in a film opposite SRK. Now, Anushka gets to sit in a judge’s chair for the reality show to finalize six feisty cheerleaders for SRK’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.

Anushka will be the judge on the first of the six episodes of the show to be telecast every Saturday. Also sitting in the judges’ chairs would be KKR’s captain Sourav Ganguly and choreographer Shiamak Davar .


To be hosted by VJ Purab Kohli, the show will have contestants from different cities vying to make it to the final six. The girls would be judged on the basis of their dancing skills, attitude, personality, energy, style and looks.

Opinion of Anushka, who has been a model and has now even tasted fame, will be important to pick out the best cheerleaders for SRK’s team before the IPL season kicks off in April.

After ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, Anushka is set to work in two more films by Yashraj Films . She hasn’t yet signed any movie outside the banner.
